ONE OF THE COUNTRY'S LARGEST PURCHASERS OF UNWANTED

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS SINCE

*** 1979 ***

Sell Your Musical Instruments is a New England-based musical instrument appraisal company.  Since 1979 we have specialized in purchasing musical instruments, audio equipment and music media.

We pay top dollar for vintage and used guitars, amplifiers, drums and percussion, accordions, band and orchestral instruments in any condition. We have an extensive repair shop and are always buying broken, damaged and defective instruments for parts. We are one of the leading purchasers of musical instruments and gear in the country through our mega-buying events and our online service.

We recently had one of our famous Mega Buying events in Danbury, Connecticut. Customers came out from all over Fairfield, Putnam, and Westchester counties in CT and NY. People from New Milford, Bethel, Ridgefield, New Fairfield, Newtown, Brookfield, Brewster, and Carmel were beginning their spring cleaning and trying to get some extra cash to pay their oil bills by selling their musical instruments.

We had a young man from New Fairfield who found a vintage Martin trumpet and Selmer clarinet at a tag sale.  A restaurant owner from Danbury sold us some JBL P.A. equipment and AKG microphones he was no longer using at his open mic night. We attracted a group of college students from New York who wanted to sell an old broken Ludwig drum kit and cymbal stands which they found at the town dump. A vocal group from New Milford brought down over 50 microphone and instrument cables.  A woman from Brewster NY dug out a vintage Epiphone Guitar from her brother’s storage unit that needed repair. A mom from Newtown sold her son’s never-played ESP guitar she had given him for his birthday. The day’s strangest item was a vintage Italian accordion which looked like something out of the circus with rhinestones all over it. We also took in a number of used school music lesson books and instrument mouthpieces.

No matter what people had we were able to make deals with them. Over half of the items we bought were either damaged or broken and we purchased them either deciding to use them for parts or spend the money fixing them in our repair shops. So if you are looking to clean out your home, unload some instruments you no longer use or get some extra money for some of your gear, come down to our next musical instrument buying event!
